 Most of us usually rush through a day taking in each meal as a necessary evil. But let's look at why even if in a rush, do we really make an effort to consume at least those 3 essential meals. Precisely to get us through the day energetically.

Then the next thing to consider would be what food gives us that energy. we aren't talking about those diet fads here. Its definitely not a lecture am here to give about what to eat and what not to stay slim. what I am talking about is what are those 10 things (at least) that we must ensure we consume, in reasonable amounts, during the span of a day.

Our bodies are complex systems that require a wide variety of inputs to keep them going right. The ten most essential foods that help us do this include,

Rice/ potatoes/ other white vegies for carbs.

Greens and reds in vegetables - for the minerals & vitamins

Egg whites/ milk/ yogurt for protein

Lots of fluids - water/ butter milk/ tender coconut/ fresh fruit juices

Lentils/ pulses (at least one type in one meal) for the additional vitamins & proteins

Wheat (at least in one meal) for that extra energy & strength

Fruits (at least 2 to 3 in a day; eaten before a meal)

Some nuts -almonds, peanuts (as an in between meal; just a few to keep that hunger pang in control)

Oats/ corn flakes/ wheat flakes preferrably for breakfast.

I hope that gives us enough variety to keep the diet balanced and interesting. And I hope I have been able to answer your querry on 10 must have foods
