Here's a quick Banana Snack!
By heenan
This is a very quick way to make a banana snack that you can store for a few days.
Choose ripe but firm bananas.
Slice then into about 1/4 inch thickness rounds
Cut these into halves.
In a pan keep some oil for deep frying.
In another pan heat a few drops of oil.
Add grated jaggery to this and stir till the jaggery is melted. Add some water to make a not so thick consistency of melted jaggery. Keep stirring all the while, on a medium flame.
Add the cut banana pieces. Mix them in the jaggery gently, taking care you dont mash them or break them.
Remove one or a few at a time and deep fry briefly.
Put them on a paper towel to soak up the extra oil.
Allow to cool and store in an air tight container.
They make a yummy, very sweet, quick energizing snack.
Enjoy!
